Amy Austin Holmes arbeitet in ihrer Zeit in Jena an ihrem aktuellen Forschungsthema zu den Revolutionen und Umbrüchen in der arabischen Welt mit Schwerpunkt auf Ägypten, Jemen und Bahrain und hielt dazu auch im Rahmen des Kollegs-Kolloquium einen Vortrag. Einer ihrer Texte zum Thema mit dem Titel ‘There are weeks when decades happen: Structure and Strategy in the Egyptian Revolution’ kann hier gelesen werden.
