Research focus, presentations and publications during stay

During his stay with the Research Group, Sighard Neckel presented his current research on the refeudalization of today’s society entitled: ‘Re-Feudalisierung: Aktualität und Systematik eines Begriffes der Habermas’schen Gesellschaftsanalyse’. Furthermore, he discussed his text “Der Gefühlskapitalismus der Banken: Vom Ende der Gier als ruhiger Leidenschaft” with the Research Group. In his research, Neckel proves highly sensitive in his diagnosis of our times and manages to analytically capture the different tendencies of change of modern capitalism. Both make his work especially interesting for the Research Group.
