Hartmut Rosa Receives the Paul Watzlawick Ring of Honour

Hartmut Rosa, co-director of the research group Post-growth Societies and Professor of General and Theoretical Sociology at the FSU Jena, has received the Paul Watzlawick Ring of Honour from the Vienna Medical Association for his book "Resonance: A Sociology of the Relationship to the World". The ceremony will take place on 19 September 2018 as part of an event with the Association of the Friends of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.

The Paul Watzlawick Ring of Honour has been awarded since 2008 and is a tribute to the Austrian linguist and psychologist Paul Watzlawick, founder of Constructivism and author of numerous books, including "The Pursuit of Unhappiness" and "How Real is Real". The Ring of Honour is one of the most prestigious science awards.

We congratulate Hartmut Rosa on this distinction!
